Your Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply PKPD models to influence decision making in drug discovery and development
  • Assist in dose to man (DtM) predictions and perform uncertainty analysis thereof
  • Use PKPD modelling to inform and influence the design of preclinical PKPD studies and contribute to estimation of safety margins
  • Active engagement and scientific collaboration with the internal modelling community

This position is a 1 year consulting assignment, this means that you will be employed by TNG during this time. 

 

Our Expectations

Essential for the role

  • Hands-on experience of PKPD modelling. Experience can have been gained from empirical PKPD models or quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models, by means of tools like Phoenix, Matlab, R, Monolix, NONMEM or similar.
  • PhD/MSc in either pharmacokinetics or pharmacology or from another related field, with a focus on mathematical modelling of PKPD data, ideally in a preclinical/translational setting
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing are required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that lead to successful collaborative working relationships and ability to work independently in cross-functional teams on a day-to-day basis.
