As a Device Application Engineer at Coherent, you will be part of the device development team and contribute to the testing and evaluation of SiC power semiconductor devices developed at Coherent. Your Responsibilities

As a Device Application your main work tasks are:

• Development of measurement setups according to required standards.
• Performing measurements on SiC power devices and analyzing results.
• Device application modelling and system performance demonstration.
• Support customer implementation and troubleshooting.
• Documentation of work with progress-, quality-, and delivery reports.
• Presentations for internal and external use

The Bigger Picture

You will be a part of the SiC Power device development team in Kista, consisting of 13 colleauges and work closely with the Senior Device Applicaiton Engineer.

The position is full-time and requires operational proximity to the facility in Kista Stockholm, but free working hours are applied and the possibility to work from home on certain occasions, is possible. 

Our Expectations

We attach great importance to your personal qualities, but to be relevant for this role it is required that you have:

• MSc in Electronics or Engineering Physics.
• Knowledge in power electronic applications and circuits.

It´s also advantegous if you have:

• Previous experience in constructing electronic circuits.
• Knowledge in SPICE modeling and circuit simulations.
• Knowledge in electronic device testing.
• Knowledge in power devices.
