Your Responsibilities

  • Sustaining engineering of production test systems that are located in Sweden or at partner locations in Asia.
  • Continuous improvement of the test systems to achieve higher availability, product yield and efficiency.
  • Participate in new product development as manufacturing test representative.
  • Test development of new generation test systems.
  • Support R&D projects with various tasks and as a customer to the R&D test development.

 

The Bigger Picture

You become part of a competent team consisting of 10 engineers and you report to Manager Manufacturing Engineering. The service is full-time 38.75 h / week, II-VI works with trust-working hours 06.00-23.00 Monday to Friday, but you must be available during office hours. 

Our Expectations

We are looking for you who have an MSc degree in electronics, physics or equivalent education, and you have work experience from a production test environment. You are fluent in English speaking and writing, it is also an advantage if you have Swedish skills.

In addition to the above, great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities. In the role of Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will manage, develop and improve the test systems you work with. In order for you to be successful in this, we see that you have good problem-solving ability, are curious, quick to learn and have a great technical interest.
