In this role as a Development Engineer, you´ll have a key position in the company, contributing to successful projects within a high-tech, international organization in growth.

Your Responsibilities

As a Development Engineer, you will ensure the successful qualification of new products through active participation in development projects. Serving as the company´s expert in the field of reliability, your main tasks will include:

• Taking an active role in development projects, coordinating/planning needs with design and test development teams during the development phase to ensure successful qualification of new products.
• Communicating results within projects and to internal and external customers.
• Monitoring and identifying early/random failure rates, estimating the lifespan of components through modeling.
• Maintaining and developing top-notch reliability tests and analysis methods.
• Completing and reporting planned qualifications before the start of volume production.
• You are the key person who maintains and develops reliability tests and analysis methods to top class performance.

The Bigger Picture

You will be part of a team of about 5 people, consisting of other engineers, reporting to the Manager of Q & R. Together with your team colleagues, you will collaborate with operators, measurement technicians, and other colleagues in manufacturing and development. The position is full-time, 38.75 hours per week, and requires on-site presence at the facility in Järfälla.

Our Expectations

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, but to be eligible for this role, you must have:

• BSc or MSc in electronics or equivalent acquired knowledge.
• Experience in the design and testing of electronics.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis using dedicated tools such as JMP, R, Minitab.
• Experience and ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as manage data collection and analysis.
• Programming skills focused on data collection, analysis, and visualization.
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
