SEB Trainee Programme: Transformation Analyst

Working as a Transformation Analyst in the division Corporate & Private Customers (C&PC) at SEB in Stockholm you will report directly to the Divisional CFO and ensure the financial stability of their operations, track performance metrics, and engage in deep dives to understand and guide strategic directions. You will also work with transformational initiatives, helping to define SEB operations for future generations.

Simultaneously with working in the role being recruited to, you will participate in SEB´s International Trainee Programme, which gives you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the financial industry and be professionally and personally challenged.

Your trainee position and your team

In your role as a Transformation Analyst, you will report directly to the Divisional CFO and work alongside team leaders in the following departments:
1. Business Control – Financial management and follow-up within the division.
2. Risk & Capital Management – Keeping track and analysing credit risks and capital consumption.
3. Chief Information Officer (CIO) Unit – Reviewing the IT portfolio and verifying that planned activities align with strategic ambitions.
4. Enabling functions – enables customers to purchase our services digitally (through Mobil BankID, digital signatures, and authorisations)

Your role will revolve around two interconnected focus areas. Firstly, a financial focus involving the measuring and monitoring of financial activities to determine the banks long-term trajectory is correct. Secondly, a focus on transformation by establishing structures and identifying necessary changes in SEB´s work processes to achieve defined goals.

You will work heavily with databases and data analysis in Excel. Your role will be highly collaborative, requiring you to interact across various C&PC functions. This is a unique opportunity to gain a broad perspective over the entire C&PC division with the possibility of choosing an area of specialisation after the Trainee Programme ends.

  • Have an academic degree in Economics such as National Economy, Business Economics or Finance or another related field of study;
  • Have graduated before programme start or within the last three years;
  • Possesses good skills in Microsoft Excel and has basic programming skills;
  • It is meritorious if you have worked with Data Visualisation in Tableau;
  • Fluent in written and spoken spoken English and Swedish.
