Your Responsibilities

• Plan, perform and analyze optical and electrical testing of optical components and systems to verify their functionality, quality and performance.
• Analyze test data, document results and ensure that the test stations are operating correctly and efficiently.
• Work closely within the development team to improve test processes and develop new, innovative test methods.

The Bigger Picture

You will be part of a competent R&D team consisting of 44 people. Your immediate team in test system development currently consists of 8 hardware engineers and you report to the Test Development Manager. The position requires good knowledge of measurement setups and test methods of coherent and non-coherent products. All operations are conducted in Järfälla and the position requires work "on site".

Our Expectations

We are looking for you who have an MSc or PhD in optoelectronics, electronics, physics or mathematics. You have work experience from a test environment of opto/electronic components. You are fluent in spoken and written English; it is also advantageous if you have knowledge of Swedish.
We see that you have:

• Solid experience in optical and electrical testing and measurement of components, including the use of advanced optical and electrical instruments such as optical and electrical spectrum analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, VNAs, DCAs and SMUs.
• Experience working with optical components.
• Good knowledge of optical and electrical measurement techniques and ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
• Good analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
